Area 7
Effective immediately the harvest prohibition for manila clams, littleneck
clams, oysters, and mussels is lifted in Subareas 7-22 to 7-24.

The most recent marine biotoxin results were acceptable.

Please see the summary table for the status of all subareas in Area 7.

Area 13
Effective immediately there is a harvest prohibition for all bivalve shellfish
in Subareas 13-3 to 13-11.

The product may be contaminated given the deviance from the sampling
requirements established under the biotoxin monitoring program.

Please see the summary table for the status of all subareas in Area 13.

Area 15
Effective immediately the harvest prohibition for manila clams, littleneck
clams, oysters, mussels, and scallops is lifted in that portion of Subarea 15-5

northwesterly following the shoreline of Cortes Island to Bullock Bluff, thence
true north following the boundary line to Raza Island, and thence following the
shoreline northeasterly back to the point of commencement.

The most recent marine biotoxin results were acceptable.

Please see the summary table for the status of all subareas in Area 15.

Area 23
Effective immediately there is a harvest prohibition for all bivalve shellfish
in that portion of Subarea 23-6 north of a line drawn from an unnamed point of
land at 48°59.41' north latitude and 125°11.11' west longitude, due west to an
unnamed point of land at 48°59.41' north latitude and 125°11.78' west

NOTES:
Details are broken into Areas and Subareas, as managed by Fisheries and Oceans
Canada (DFO). Subarea information is not in the British Columbia Tidal Waters
Sport Fishing Guide, but it is readily available in non-navigable Subarea
management charts that can be obtained at DFO offices. In addition,
descriptions of Subareas are set out in the Pacific Fishery Management Area
Regulations, 2007. These regulations are available at libraries and from the
DFO Pacific Internet at:

http://www.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/index-eng.htm

Maps of Fishery Management Areas and Subareas can also be found at:

The public is advised to consult the local DFO office nearest to the site of
harvest for the latest information on PSP and other marine toxin, sewage and
conservation closures prior to digging.
