Fishery Notice

Returns are nearing completion, assessments of in-river escapements to both 
Area 7 and Area 8 systems continue to indicate weak returns of salmon.    

Area 7
There will be no commercial opportunity in Area 7 during the week of October 8 
to October 13, 2018.  

Assessments will continue in Area 7, the outlook for directed commercial 
fisheries for Chum salmon this season is poor.  No further commercial 
opportunities are anticipated this season for Area 7.  

Area 8
There will be no commercial opportunity in Area 8 during the week of October 8 
to October 13, 2018 and no further commercial opportunities are anticipated 
this season for Area 8.  

The next notice is scheduled for October 11, 2018 by end of day.
