FN1071-RECREATIONAL - Salmon - Area 29 - Tidal Waters of the Fraser River - Closure to Salmon Fishing - Effective September 28, 2018


Due to identified conservation concerns, the following closure periods are in 
place to protect and mitigate potential impacts on Interior Fraser River 
Steelhead (IFR) Steelhead stocks of concern.

Waters:  Tidal waters of the Fraser River (downstream edge of the CPR Bridge at 
Mission to the mouth).

Management Measures: 

Effective September 28 until October 24, 2018, fishing for salmon is not 
permitted. 

Recreational salmon fishing opportunities on the Fraser River are anticipated 
later in the season after this window closure period.
