FN1034-Inseason Changes to the 2016/2017 Groundfish Trawl Harvest Plan re - Adjustments to Some Temporary Groundfish Trawl Quota Vessel Species Caps effective Sept 23th, 2016.
Groundfish Trawl licence holders and harvesters are advised of the following harvest plan changes that have been adopted for the 2016/2017 Commercial Groundfish Trawl Fishery effective immediately. These changes were discussed and recommended to DFO by the Groundfish Trawl Advisory Committee at its September 22nd, 2016 meeting. The following Individual Groundfish Trawl Temporary Quota Species Caps changes are in effect for Groundfish Trawl fishery for the remainder of the 2016/2017 fishing season: Yellowtail Rockfish ------from-------8%-----to----10% Widow Rockfish------------from-------10%----to----15% Canary Rockfish-----------from-------6%-----to----8% Silvergray Rockfish-------from-------8%-----to----9% Pacific Ocean Perch-------from-------9%-----to----12% Yellowmouth Rockfish------from-------7%-----to---10% Rougheye Rockfish---------from------12%-----to----15% Redbanded Rockfish--------from------10%-----to----15% Pacific Cod---------------from------10%-----to----15% Dover Sole----------------from------12%-----to----15% Rock Sole-----------------from------10%-----to----15% English/Lemon Sole--------from------15%-----to----20% Petrale Sole--------------from-------8%-----to----10% Sablefish-----------------from-------7%-----to----10% Walleye Pollock-----------from------20%-----to----30% Arrowtooth Flounder-------from-----21%-----to----26% Pacific Hake(Offshore)----from------10%-----to----15% All other temporary, permanent and Non-T temporary individual vessel quota species caps for the groundfish trawl sector remain unchanged.
