FN0952-Urgent Information: Systems Outage for Infrastructure Maintenance from Saturday, September 10, 4:00AM to 7:00AM PST for all systems and 4:00AM- 3:00PM for the Pacific Licencing System (PLS)

There will be maintenance on the Fisheries and Oceans Canada's IT 
infrastructure on Saturday, September 10, 2016.  Please be advised that during 
this maintenance, there will be no access to the following Regional and 
National Applications from Saturday, September 10, 4:00AM to 7:00AM: 

-Web Services - collect catch information from commercial fishers

-XNET - known as the Pacific Region Extranet that provides archival information 
on commercial fisheries

-Vessel Registration Number (VRN) Directory - provides ship's registration 

-National Recreational Licensing System (NRLS) - Provides online tidal water 
sport fishing licensing services 

-Fishery Operating System (FOS) - provides online catch information

-Groundfish Quota Management System (QMS) - provides groundfish quota 
management information.

-NOLS - National On-line Licensing System (provide on-line access to request 
commercial licences)

-Fishery Notices - provide information on fishery openings, closures and 
updates Current Fishery Notices may be read but no new notices will be. 

There will be no access on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 4:00AM-3:00PM to 
PLS (Pacific Licensing System) which provides the DFO user interface for 
commercial licences.

We regret any inconvenience this may have caused and ask that you please plan 
your activities accordingly.
