FN0904-Recreational - Fin Fish (Other than Salmon) - Halibut: fishery continuing until further notice - August 26th, 2016.

DFO and Sport Fishing Advisory Board (SFAB) Halibut Committee meet monthly 
throughout the season to review estimated catches. At the most recent meeting, 
it was determined that the halibut harvest by the recreational fishery to July 
31, 2016 was approximately 691,120 pounds of the recreational fishery's Total 
Allowable Catch of 1,100,950 pounds.

We will review catches and fishing opportunities for the balance of the year at 
our next meeting the week of September 26th, 2016.
