FN1327-Inseason Changes to the 2015/2016 Groundfish Trawl Harvest Plan re - Adjustments to Some Temporary Groundfish Trawl Quota Vessel Species Caps effective December 9th, 2015.
Groundfish Trawl licence holders and harvesters are advised of the following harvest plan changes that have been adopted for the 2015/2016 Commercial Groundfish Trawl Fishery effective immediately. These changes were discussed and recommended to DFO by the Groundfish Trawl Advisory Committee at its December 3rd, 2015 meeting. The following Individual Groundfish Trawl Temporary Quota Species Caps changes are in effect for Groundfish Trawl fishery for the remainder of the 2015/2016 fishing season: Yellowtail Rockfish-------from-------8%-----to----10% Widow Rockfish------------from------12%-----to---25% Silvergray Rockfish-------from-------8%-----to---11% Pacific Ocean Perch-------from------11%-----to----14% Yellowmouth Rockfish------from------10%-----to---12% Rougheye Rockfish---------from------15%-----to----20% Redstripe Rockfish--------from------10%-----to----15% Pacific Cod---------------from-------8%-----to----10% English/Lemon Sole--------from------15%-----to----20% Petrale Sole--------------from------10%-----to----15% Lingcod-------------------from-------8%-----to----12% Sablefish-----------------from------10%-----to---15% Arrowtooth Flounder-------from-----22%-----to----30% All other temporary, permanent and Non-T temporary individual vessel quota species caps for the groundfish trawl sector remain unchanged.
