The 2015/16 commercial wild Pacific oyster fishery will close effective 23:59 
hours on November 30, 2015 as outlined in the 2015/16 Integrated Fisheries 
Management Plan.   

The following commercial harvest areas will close:

Area 13
Harvest Area: Shark Spit - That portion of Subarea 13-15 along the northern 
intertidal foreshore of Marina Island north of the parallel passing through 50 
degrees 04.938 minutes north latitude. [NAD83] [Shark Spit]

Harvest Area: Smelt Bay - That portion of Subarea 13-15 on the western 
intertidal foreshore of Cortes Island, south of the parallel passing through 50 
degrees 02.900 minutes north latitude and north of the parallel passing through

Harvest Area: Bird Cove - Those waters and intertidal foreshore known as Bird 
Cove within Subarea 13-17 inside a line drawn from a point at 50 degrees 11.978 
minutes north latitude and 125 degrees 05.081 minutes west longitude to a point 
at 50 degrees 11.738 minutes north latitude and 125 degrees 05.281 minutes west

Area 15
Harvest Area: Myrtle Rocks - That portion of Subarea 15-1 inside a line drawn 
from a point at 49 degrees 47.725 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 28.851 
minutes west longitude to a point at 49 degrees 47.555 minutes north latitude 
and 124 degrees 28.972 minutes west longitude, then to a point at 49 degrees 
47.371 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 28.33 minutes west longitude, 
then to a point at 49 degrees 47.577 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 
28.093 minutes west longitude, and thence running along the shoreline back to

Harvest Area: Savary Island - The intertidal foreshore of Savary Island located 
within Subarea 15-2. [Savary Island]

Harvest Area: Hernando Reef - That portion of Subareas 15-2 and 15-3 along the 
southern intertidal foreshore of Hernando Island, south of the parallel passing 
through 49 degrees 57.798 minutes north latitude. [NAD83] [Hernando Reef]

Harvest Area: East Hernando - That portion of Subarea 15-3 along the eastern 
intertidal foreshore of Hernando Island, south of a line 49 degrees 59.260 
minutes north latitude and north of a line 49 degrees 57.823 minutes north

Harvest Area: West Hernando - Description: That portion of Subarea 15-3 along 
the western intertidal foreshore of Hernando Island south of the parallel 
passing through 50 degrees 00.194 minutes north latitude and west of the 
meridian passing through 124 degrees 55.555 minutes west longitude. [NAD83]

Harvest Area: Stag and Dog Bays - The waters and intertidal foreshore in 
Subarea 15-3 known as Stag Bay and Dog Bay along the northern portion of 
Hernando Island east of the meridian passing through 124 degrees 56.649 minutes 
west longitude and west of the meridian passing through 124 degrees 53.393

Harvest Area: Lloyd Point - Those waters and intertidal foreshore of Hombrey 
Channel in Subarea 15-5 inside a line drawn from a point at 50 degrees 11.645 
minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 36.486 minutes west longitude to a point 
at 50 degrees 11.645 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 36.934 minutes west 
longitude, thence to a point at 50 degrees 10.500 minutes north latitude and 
124 degrees 38.070 minutes west longitude, thence to a point at 50 degrees 
10.500 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 37.458 minutes west longitude,

Harvest Area:  Mink Island - Those intertidal foreshore areas of Mink Island 
and Curme Islets located within Subarea 15-5. [Mink Island]

Harvest Area: Seaford - That portion of Subarea 15-5 on the eastern intertidal 
foreshore of Cortes Island, south of the parallel passing through 50 degrees 
06.377 minutes north latitude and north of the parallel passing through 50

Harvest Area: Tenedos Bay - Those waters and intertidal foreshore known as 
Tenedos Bay within Subarea 15-5 inside a line drawn from a point at 50 degrees 
06.854 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 42.821 minutes west longitude to 
a point at 50 degrees 06.251 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 42.476

Harvest Area: Waddington Channel - Those waters and intertidal foreshore known 
as Waddington Channel in Subarea 15-5, south of a line running from a point at 
50 degrees 17.128 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 47.189 minutes west 
longitude to a point at 50 degrees 17.089 minutes north latitude and 124 
degrees 47.033 minutes west longitude and north of a line drawn from a point at 
50 degrees 09.857 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 45.082 minutes west 
longitude to a point at 50 degrees 09.88 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 
43.699 minutes west longitude and excluding those waters known as Pendrell 
Sound inside a line drawn from a point at 50 degrees 12.543 minutes north 
latitude and 124 degrees 45.486 minutes west longitude to a point at 50 degrees

Harvest Area: Killam Bay - That portion of Subarea 16-13 on the British 
Columbia mainland known as Killam Bay, inside a line drawn from a point 49 
degrees 47.266 minutes north latitude and 123 degrees 55.303 minutes west 
longitude to a point at 49 degrees 46.998 minutes north latitude and 123

Harvest Area: Blind Bay - That portion of Subarea 16-16 intertidal foreshore 
and waters known as Blind Bay inside a line drawn from a point at 49 degrees 
43.456 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 13.391 minutes west longitude to 
a point at 49 degrees 42.707 minutes north latitude and 124 degrees 12.148

Harvest Area: Davie Bay - That portion of Subarea 16-21 along the southern 
intertidal foreshore of Texada Island, east of the meridian passing through 124 
degrees 23.940 minutes west longitude and west of the meridian passing through

Harvest Area: Mouat Bay - That portion of Subarea 16-21 along the southern 
intertidal foreshore of Texada Island known as Mouat Bay, south of the parallel 
passing through 49 degrees 39.204 minutes north latitude and north of the

23-9 and 23-10 lying inside a line drawn from a point at 49 degrees 02.023 
minutes north latitude and 125 degrees 20.000 minutes west latitude to a point 
at 49 degrees 01.309 minutes north latitude and 125 degrees 20.702 minutes west 
longitude, thence to a point at 48 degrees 59.242 minutes north latitude and 
125 degrees  22.187 minutes west longitude, thence to a point at 48 degrees 
58.326 minutes north latitude and 125 degrees 19.866 minutes west longitude, 
thence to a point at 49 degrees 01.067 minutes north latitude and 125 degrees

foreshore of Hisnit Inlet on Vancouver Island, west of a line drawn from a 
point at 49 degrees 43.62 minutes north latitude and 126 degrees 29.31 minutes 
west longitude southwesterly to Argonaut Point at 49 degrees 43.22 minutes 
north latitude and 126 degrees 29.48 minutes west longitude, excluding the 
waters and foreshore of Hisnit Inlet north of the parallel passing through 49 
degrees 44.89 minutes north latitude and south of the parallel passing through 
49 degrees 45.11 minutes north latitude, and excluding the waters and 
intertidal foreshore of Valdes Bay, east of a line drawn from a point of land 
at 49 degrees 43.91 minutes north latitude and 126 degrees 29.466 minutes west 
longitude northwesterly to a point of land at 49 degrees 43.795 minutes north

Harvest Area: Tahsis Inlet - Those waters and intertidal foreshore of Subarea 
25-8 known as Tahsis Inlet north of the parallel passing through 49 degrees

Harvest Area: Mooyah Bay - Those waters and intertidal foreshore known as 
Mooyah Bay within Subarea 25-3 inside a line drawn from a point at 49 degrees

a point at 49 degrees 38.325 minutes north latitude and 126 degrees 25.541

Variation Order 2015-462 is revoked effective 23:59 hours November 30, 2015.
