An asterisk indicates a change in area description since the last rotation: SUMMARY: PRE06 SW Dundas Island PRG02a Baron Island South PRG03 West Chatham Sound PRG04 Melville/Dunira Islands Variation Order No. 2015-564 in effect. The North Coast fishery is also open in the following GMAs: PRE03a North Dundas Island PRE03b NE Dundas Island PRE04 North Dundas Island PRE05 NW Dundas Island Variation Order No. 2015-554 DETAILS: GMA PRE06, South West Dundas Island: 1) That portion of Subarea 3-1 south of 54 degrees 33.2 minutes north latitude 2) That portion of Subarea 4-1 north of a line running approximately 225 degrees True from 54 degrees 32.42 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 47.6 minutes west longitude (through Hudsons Bay Passage), and westerly of the line running from a point on Baron Island at position 54 degrees 27.12 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 51.38 minutes west longitude northwest to a point at 54 degrees 28.87 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 54.97 minutes west longitude. GMA PRG02a, Baron Island South: That portion of Subarea 4-1 west of a line from a point on Baron Island at position 54 degrees 27.12 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 51.38 minutes west longitude northwest to a point at 54 degrees 28.87 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 54.97 minutes west longitude and south of a line running approximately 225 degrees true from position 54 degrees 32.42 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 47.6 minutes west longitude (through Hudsons Bay Passage). GMA PRG03, West Chatham Sound: 1) Those portions of Subareas 3-2 and 4-5 west of 130 degrees 35 minutes west longitude. 2) That portion of 4-1 east of a line from a point on Meville Island at position 54 degrees 24.35 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 45.58 minutes west longitude, thence to a point on Dunira Island at position 54 degrees 24.77 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 45.91 minutes west longitude. GMA PRG04, Melville/Dunira Islands: That portion of Subarea 4-1 south of a line running 222 degrees true from a position on Dunira Island at 54 degrees 26.59 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 49.32 minutes west longitude, and west of a line from a point on Melville Island at position 54 degrees 24.35 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 45.58 minutes west longitude, thence to a point on Dunira Island at position 54 degrees 24.77 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 45.91 minutes west longitude. NOTES: South Coast areas are identified on separate Fishery Notices. See the 2015 Geoduck and Horse Clam Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for a more detailed description of the Fishing Protocol. The On-Grounds Monitor and/or Archipelago Marine Research will direct the fleet through geoduck beds and GMAs.
