FN1275-Sanitary Closure for Bivalve Shellfish in Neroutsos Inlet, Area 27, is revoked
Effective November 16, 2015, the Emergency Sanitary Closure 27.bb in Neroutsos Inlet has been revoked. The authorized discharge during routine maintenance at the Village of Port Alice Wastewater Treatment Plant has returned to normal. Sanitary Closure 27.bb "The waters and intertidal foreshore of Neroutsos Inlet, within a 7.2 kilometer radius of the Port Alice wastewater outfall, inside a line drawn from a point on land west of Ketchen Island at 50° 22.38' north latitude and 127° 27.19' west longitude, then northeasterly to a point on land on the opposite shore at 50° 22.62' north latitude and 127° 26.46' west longitude, thence following the eastern shoreline to a point on land at 50° 29.08' north latitude and 127° 33.24' west longitude, then southwesterly to a point on land on the opposite shore at 50° 28.66' north latitude and 127° 33.99' west longitude, thence following the western shoreline to the point of commencement."
