Fishery Notice

The freshwater and land-based aquaculture industry meeting has been rescheduled 
to Monday, February 9, 2015.

A freshwater and land-based aquaculture industry meeting is being held Monday, 
February 9, 2015 commencing at 11:00 am in Nanaimo, with participation in 
person or by telephone.  This meeting has been organized to consult on proposed 
changes for the 2015 AQFW Conditions of Licence, policy and regulatory 
proposals underway relating to the fishery, options for a draft freshwater and 
land based Integrated Management of Aquaculture Plan, a draft terms of 
reference for a Freshwater and Land Based Aquaculture Industry Advisory Panel, 
as well as DFO aquaculture operational and compliance updates.  

To ensure adequate seating room at the upcoming meeting, please notify Jennifer
