Fishery Notice

Groundfish Trawl licence holders and harvesters are advised of the following 
Harvest plan changes that have been adopted for the 2014/2015 Commercial 
Groundfish Trawl Fishery effective immediately. These changes were discussed 
and recommended to DFO by the Groundfish Trawl Advisory Committee at its 
January 7th, 2015 meeting.

The following Individual Groundfish Trawl Temporary Quota Species Caps changes 
are in effect for Groundfish Trawl fishery for the remainder of the 2014/2015 
fishing season.

Pacific Cod------------------from------12%-----to----20%
Longnose Skate---------------from------20%-----to----25%

The Non-T Trawl Individual Species caps (Temp IVQ reallocations into and out of 
trawl sector) changes set out below are in effect for Groundfish Trawl fishery 
for the remainder of the 2014/2015 fishing season.

Rougheye Rockfish -----------from------20%-----to----30%

Additionally, the Trawl outgoing sector cap for Shortraker Rockfish has been 
increased to 100,000 pounds

All other temporary, permanent and Non-T temporary individual vessel quota 
species caps for the groundfish trawl sector remain unchanged.
