Please be advised that a rainfall warning has been issued by Environment Canada
for the East Vancouver Island per the link below:

http://weather.gc.ca/warnings/index_e.html?prov=bc

This is a warning that intense rainfall events resulting in flooding, sewage
collection systems overflows and/or occurring after prolonged dry weather
periods can adversely affect marine water quality and result in temporary
emergency shellfish harvesting closures.

Shellfish harvesters are advised to monitor weather conditions and warnings,
and to plan their harvesting activities accordingly.

Current Details:
Issued at 2014-10-25 16:25 UTC by Environment Canada:
Rainfall warning issued for:
East Vancouver Island, B.C.

An intense weather system is spreading rain at times heavy to Vancouver Island.
Weather stations on East Vancouver Island have received 15 to 25 mm of rain
since midnight last night. Further amounts of 20 to 40 mm are expected through
this evening before the system moves to the interior and the rain ends.
