Fishery Notice

Effective immediately until March 31, 2014 coho salmon may be retained on that 
portion of the Big Qualicum River upstream of the hatchery.  The daily limit is 
4 coho per day, of which 2 may be greater than 35 cm in length.

Fishers are reminded that portion of the Big Qualicum River downstream of the 
hatchery remains closed to angling.  The minimum size limit for coho salmon is 
30 cm.
