Effective December 17, 2012 until further notice: Due to shellfish product on 
BC Land Registry aquaculture tenure # 0236970 exceeding the bacteriological 
standard for E.coli in raw shellfish, the Pacific Interdepartmental Shellfish 
Committee has agreed that a closure is warranted.

Harvest of bivalve shellfish is now prohibited until further notice from a 
portion of Preedy Harbour, Subarea 17-6 which includes BC Land Registry 
Shellfish Aquaculture Tenure # 0236970

The waters and intertidal foreshore of BC Land Registry aquaculture tenure # 
236970 in Subarea 17-6, inside a line drawn from a point in water located at 48°
58.52' north latitude and 123°41.53' west longitude southeasterly to the 
northernmost point along the shore of Dayman Island located at 48°58.49' north 
latitude and 123°41.36' west longitude, thence southerly following the 
shoreline of Dayman Island to the southwestern point located at 48°58.27' north 
latitude and 123°41.48' west longitude, thence northwesterly to a point in 
water located at 48°58.29' north latitude and 123°41.56' west longitude, thence 
northerly back to the point of commencement.
