Variation Order # 2012-453

Harvesters are reminded to confirm they have a registered buyer before
harvesting in the fishery.

As a condition of license, all eligible harvesters must wear a "high
visibility" vest with their license number clearly marked on it. In addition,
sacks of clams must be clearly identified with their license number.

Fishers should consult the 2010-2012 intertidal clam management plan for
detailed descriptions of closed areas for this fishery, information on the
license limitation program and contact numbers for further information.

All openings are subject to short notice closure due to psp contamination.
Fishers should consult the local DFO office to confirm openings and
descriptions of contaminated areas.
