FN1087-COMMERCIAL - Crab - North Coast - Management Area B Seasonal Closure and Fishery Continues
The following Subareas and portions of Subareas close for crab harvesting effective 23:59 hours November 15, 2012. 1. Subarea 3-10. 2. That portion of Subarea 3-12 north of a line commencing at Ramsden Point to a boundary sign three nautical miles southwest of Arrandale on Mylor Peninsula and south of a line from Nass Point due west to a boundary sign on the opposite mainland shore. 3. Subarea 3-18. This is a scheduled closure for the 2012 season as per the 2012 Crab Integrated Fishery Management Plan. The Area B Crab fishery will continue for Dungeness and Red Rock crab in the following Areas and Subareas: 1. Subareas 3-1 to 3-11, 3-13, 3-14, 3-17 and 3-18. 2. Subarea 3-12 north of a line from Nass Point due west to a boundary sign on the opposite mainland shore, that portion of 3-12 south of a line from Ramsden Point to a boundary sign 3 nautical miles southwest of Arrandale on Mylor Peninsula. 3. That portion of Subarea 3-15 south of a line running true west from Green Islets to the international boundary between Canada and the United States of America. 4. Subareas 4-1 to 4-8 and 4-12 to 4-15. 5. Subarea 4-9, except that portion bounded on the north by a line drawn from Observation Point to Doolan Point and bounded on the south by a line drawn from Straith Point to Dawes Point. 6. Subareas 5-1, 5-2, 5-4 to 5-9 and 5-11 to 5-24. 7. Subareas 6-3 to 6-23 and 6-24 to 6-28. 8. Subarea 6-2 except: (a) that portion of Coghlan Anchorage west of a line from Halsey Point to Dawson Point and north of a line from Thom Point to Waterman Point; (b) that portion of Kitkiata Inlet west of a line drawn from Gertrude Point to Helen Point; and (c) that portion of Kiskosh Inlet west of a line drawn across the mouth of the inlet. 9. Subareas 7-1 to 7-10 and 7-12 to 7-32. 10. Subareas 8-1, 8-2, 8-4 to 8-6, 8-8 to 8-12 and 8-14 to 8-16. 11. Area 9. 12. Area 10.
