FN1051-Inseason Changes to the 2012/2013 Groundfish Trawl Harvest Plan re - Adjustments to Some Temporary Groundfish Trawl Quota Vessel Species Caps effective November 5th, 2012.
Groundfish Trawl licence holders and harvesters are advised of the following harvest plan changes that have been adopted for the 2012/2013 Commercial Groundfish Trawl Fishery effective immediately. These changes were discussed and recommended to DFO by the Groundfish Trawl Advisory Committee at its November 1st, 2012 meeting. 1. The following Individual Groundfish Trawl Temporary Quota Species Caps changes are in effect for Groundfish Trawl fishery for the remainder of the 2012/2013 fishing season. Yellowtail Rockfish-------from-------7%----to-----8% Yellowmouth Rockfish------from------10%----to----12% Rougheye Rockfish---------from------15%----to----20% Pacific Cod---------------from-------9%----to----10% Rock Sole-----------------from------10%----to----12% English/Lemon Sole--------from------12%----to----15% Walleye Pollock-----------from------30%----to----40% Arrowtooth Flounder-------from------15%----to----20% 2. The Non-T Trawl Individual Species caps (Temp IVQ reallocations into and out of other sectors) for Canary Rockfish and Silvergrey Rockfish have been increased and are in effect for the remainder of the 2012/2013 fishing season. Canary Rockfish-----------from------20%----to----30% Silvergrey Rockfish-------from------20%----to----30% All other temporary, permanent and Non-T temporary individual vessel quota species caps for the groundfish trawl sector remain unchanged. 3.
