FN1026-COMMERCIAL - Sea Cucumber - Central Coast - Areas 8 and 9 - Opening
Opening 00:01 hours October 30 in the following Quota Management Areas: SUMMARY: 8B Calvert Island 9A Rivers Inlet Variation Order Nos. 2012-430 and 431 are in effect. The Central Coast fishery is also open in the following Quota Management Areas: 7F Denny Island 10A Smith Inlet DETAILS 8B Calvert Island Subareas 8-2, 8-3, 8-16, 9-1, 9-12. 9A Rivers Inlet Subareas 9-2, 9-3, portion of 9-4, 9-5, portion of 9-6, 9-9, 9-10 and 9-11. Notes: 1. Fishing areas may close prior to November 30 if quotas are achieved. 2. This fishery is managed on an individual quota of 16,000 lb/licence with dockside validation. Fishers must hail in to D&D Pacific Fisheries Ltd (1-800- 775-5505) 24 hrs prior to fishing and within 24 hrs of terminating fishing in an area. All landings must be validated. 3. D&D Pacific Fisheries and/or the on-grounds co-ordinators will direct the North and Central Coast fleets. 4. The North and Central Coast landing ports are Prince Rupert, Port Edward, Klemtu, Bella Bella, Port Hardy, Moresby Camp and Queen Charlotte City.
