FN0805-COMMERCIAL - Salmon: Troll - Area F - Chinook ITQ Demonstration Fishery Boundary Adjustment (North)


This notice is to advise Area F Troll of the removal of the ribbon boundary 
closure along the north side of Haida Gwaii.

Effective at 00:01 hours Monday, September 10, 2012, the following Management 
Areas will be open to trolling for chinook salmon, coho salmon, and pink salmon 
until further notice:

- Management Area 101.

- Subareas 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-5 and 1-7. 

- Subareas 2-38, 2-48, 2-49, 2-68, 2-69, 2-78, 2-79, 2-86, 2-88, 2-92, 2-97 and 
2-98.

- That portion of Management Area 142 north of 52 degrees 9 minutes North 
latitude.                              

Note: The Frederick Island Rockfish Conservation Area remains closed to hook 
and line fisheries (see below for description).

Those portions of Subareas 1-1, 101-1 and 142-2 that lies outside a line that: 
begins at 53 degrees 56.246 minutes N and 133 degrees 17.500 minutes W then 
true East to 53 degrees 56. 246 minutes N and 133 degrees 11.862 minutes W 
(Hope Point) then to 53 degrees 57.144 minutes N and 133 degrees 07.938 minutes 
W (Graham Island) then southerly following the shoreline of Graham Island to 
the intersection with 53 degrees 47.0 minutes north latitude, then to 53 
degrees 47.000 minutes N and 133 degrees 10.00 minutes W thence to the 
beginning point.

Variation Order number: 2012-NCTR-10 will be in effect beginning at 00:01 
hours, September 10, 2012.
