Opening 00:01 hours March 25, 2012 in the following Geoduck Management Areas 
(GMAs).  An asterisk indicates a change in area description since the last 
rotation.

GMA 13C, Southwest Cortes Island
GMA 13D, Northwest Cortes Island

Note: See Fishery Notice No. FN0241 Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Update, 
as recommended by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and issued by DFO.

DETAILS:
GMA 13A, Southeast Quadra Island: Subareas 13-12 to 13-13 and that portion of 
13-14 excluding the waters surrounding Marina Island to the 20 metre depth 
contour and excluding the waters inside a 1.5 nautical miles radius of Sutil 
Point on Cortes Island.

NOTES:
West Coast Vancouver Island and North Coast areas are indentified on separate 
Fishery Notices.

See the 2012 Geoduck and Horse Clam Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) 
for a more detailed description of the Fishing Protocol.

The On-Grounds Monitor and/or Archipelago Marine Research will direct the fleet 
through geoduck beds and GMAs.

Horse clams are permitted as an incidental catch only except where a quota has 
been established.
