FN1254-Communal Sale Fishery - Five Nations Integrated Salmon and Groundfish Fishery - Continuation - Change in Species Authorized for Sale


The Ahousaht, Ehattesaht, Hesquiaht, Mowachaht/Muchalaht and Tla-o-qui-aht First Nations (Five Nations) Communal Sale Fishery for salmon and groundfish by hook and line continues until further notice within the Expanded Fishing Area except for Rockfish Conservation areas and WCVI Protection areas, with the following changes:

- Retention of halibut for sale closed effective 23:59 hours October 30, 2024

- Retention of lingcod for sale closed effective 23:59 hours November 14, 2024

- Harvesters may hail-out for salmon directed trips only. See FN 1077 for further details.

All harvesters must file a Start Fishing Report (hail out into the fishery) indicating a salmon directed trip prior to each trip by calling or texting 250-266-0418 or completing the report online at http://taaq.ca.
