FN1175-ABORIGINAL - Salmon: Economic Opportunities - Demonstration - Chum - Area 17 - Opening extension until November 8, 2024

This notice announces the extension of the demonstration fishery for Snuneymuxw First Nation in Area 17. 

This demonstration fishery is being conducted by Snuneymuxw First Nation. There is currently 1 seine vessel and 1 gill net licenced with a total allowable catch for this fishery of 2500 Chum.

Effective November 4, 2024, the Snuneymuxw First Nation demonstration fishery will continue for 12 hours daily from 06:00hrs until 18:00hrs until November 8, 2024. Please see FN1160 for further information.
