Closing 23:59 hours December 29, 2020 in the following Geoduck Management Areas (GMAs): SUMMARY: PRB03a Langley Pass West PRB03b Langley Pass East PRB04 Lotbiniere Bay PRB05 Campania Island North PRB06 Campania Island South Variation Order No. 2020-664 is revoked. PRD04c Principe Channel South Variation Order No. 2020-666 is revoked. The north coast fishery continues in the following GMAs: PRD03 Spicer Islands Variation Order No. 2020-647 PRD04a Deadman PRD04b Principe Channel North PRD05 Keswar Variation Order No. 2020-665 PRD07 Larsen Harbour PRD08 Borrowman Islands - Group 1 PRD09 Borrowman Islands - Group 2 & 3 PRD11 Sneath Islands Variation Order No. 2020-681 Note: Please see the most recent Fishery Notice - Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Update, as recommended by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and issued by DFO. Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Updates can change at any time please confirm the required Pacific Fisheries Management Subarea is open prior to fishing. DETAILS: NOTES: South Coast areas are identified on separate Fishery Notices. See the 2020/21 Geoduck and Horse Clam Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for a more detailed description of the Fishing Protocol. The On-Grounds Monitor and/or Archipelago Marine Research will direct the fleet through geoduck beds and GMAs.
