FN1220-SANITARY - Area 28 - Emergency Sanitary Closure for Bivalve Shellfish in Subareas 28-1 and 28-3 is now revoked.
Environment Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency have advised that the emergency sanitary closure 28.aa, enacted on October 20, 2017 as a result of potential contamination, is no longer necessary. Therefore, emergency closure 28.aa for bivalve shellfish, as described below, is now revoked. Emergency Sanitary Closure Area 28.aa - West Howe Sound, Subareas 28-1 and 28-3 The waters and intertidal foreshore within boundaries of DFO Subareas 28-1 and 28-3, as described in the Pacific Fishery Management Area Regulations, 2007 [NAD 83].
