Opening 00:01 hours November 17, 2017 in the following Quota Areas: SUMMARY: RU13b Dundas Island South RU13c Melville Island Variation Order Nos. 2017-600 and 601 are in effect. The north coast fishery continues in the following Quota Areas: RU13a Dundas Island North RU13d Nares Islets RU15 Outside Stephens RU21 Willis Bay RU27a Upper Banks Island RU27b Mid Banks Island RU28 Bonilla Island RU29 Kingkown Inlet RU30 Lower Banks Details: RU13b Dundas Island South a) That portion of Subarea 4-1 north of a line running 222 degrees true from Farwest Point on Dunira Island (using Canadian Hydrographic chart # 3959), excluding the Nares Islets Quota Area described as: that portion of Subarea 4-1 northeast of a line running from Gore-Langton Point on Dundas Island to a point at 54 degrees 28.55 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 50.70 minutes west longitude, and then running north-easterly to a point at 54 degrees 30.45 minutes north latitude, 130 degrees 47.65 minutes west longitude. b) That portion of Subarea 4-5 west of the meridian passing through 130 degrees 37.0 minutes west longitude and north of a line from the northernmost point of Dunira Island, thence true east to the meridian passing through 130 degrees 37.0 minutes west longitude. RU13c Melville Island a) That portion of Subarea 4-1 south of a line running 222 degrees true from Farwest Point on Dunira Island (using Canadian Hydrographic chart # 3959) and north of the parallel passing through 54 degrees 20.30 minutes north latitude. b) That portion of Subarea 4-5 south of a line from the northernmost point of Dunira Island, thence true east to the meridian passing through 130 degrees 37.0 minutes west longitude, and west of the meridian passing through 130 degrees 37.0 minutes west longitude. c) Those portions of Subareas 4-9 and 4-13 north of the parallel passing through 54 degrees 20.30 minutes north latitude. Notes: All notification and reporting requirements are outlined in Appendix 1 of the Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP). The North Coast fishing protocol is available from Pauline Ridings or D&D Pacific Fisheries. D&D Pacific Fisheries will direct the fleet. South Coast areas are identified on a separate notice.
