Opening 00:01 Hours September 27, 2017 in the following Geoduck Management Areas (GMAs). An asterisk indicates a change in area description since the last rotation: SUMMARY: PRF02a Stephens Island Southeast (Subarea 4-9 portion only) Variation Order No. 2017-506 in effect. The north coast fishery continues in the following GMAs: None. Bivalve Shellfish Marine Biotoxin Updates can change at any time please confirm the required Pacific Fisheries Management Subarea is open prior to fishing. DETAILS: GMA PRF02a, Stephens Island South East: 1. That portion of Subarea 4-9 west of 130 degrees 31 minutes west longitude and south of 54 degrees 10 minutes north latitude. NOTES: South Coast areas are identified on separate Fishery Notices. See the 2017/18 Geoduck and Horse Clam Integrated Fisheries Management Plan (IFMP) for a more detailed description of the Fishing Protocol. The On-Grounds Monitor and/or Archipelago Marine Research will direct the fleet through geoduck beds and GMAs.
