Area 15
Effective immediately there is a harvest prohibition for geoduck and horse 
clams in Subarea 15-2.

The product may be contaminated given the deviance from the sampling 
requirements established under the biotoxin monitoring program.

Please see the summary table for the status of all Subareas in Area 15.

Area 18
Effective immediately there is a harvest prohibition for all bivalve shellfish 
in Subarea 18-7.

The most recent marine biotoxin results were unacceptable.

SUMMARY:
The following information in this fishery notice reflects Paralytic Shellfish 
Poisoning (PSP, red tide), Domoic Acid Poisoning (also known as Amnesic 
Shellfish Poisoning (ASP)), Diarrhetic Shellfish Poisoning (DSP) and other 
marine toxin closures as of June 23, 2017 for bivalve shellfish (oysters, 
clams, scallops, mussels, and geoduck).  Note that this fishery notice does not 
describe sewage contamination closures. For information on sewage contamination

Area 1
Subarea 1-5 open to razor clams, butter clams, cockles and scallops only, 
closed to all other bivalve shellfish;
Balance of Area 1 closed to all bivalve shellfish.

Areas 2 to 10
Closed to all bivalve shellfish.

Area 11
Subarea 11-2 open to manila clams, littleneck clams, oysters and mussels only, 
closed to all other bivalve shellfish; 
Balance of Area 11 closed to all bivalve shellfish.

Area 12
Subareas 12-16 and 12-17 open to butter clams and cockles only; closed to all 
other bivalve shellfish;
Balance of Area 12 closed to all bivalve shellfish.

Area 13
Subareas 13-1 and 13-12 to 13-14 open to manila clams, littleneck clams, 
oysters and mussels only, closed to all other bivalve shellfish;

northeast shoreline of Raza Island at 50°18.26' north latitude and 124°58.10' 
west longitude, thence easterly to a point on the west coast of West Redonda 
Island at 50°18.12' north latitude and 124°55.48' west longitude, thence 
southerly following the shoreline of West Redonda Island to a point at 50°
12.29' north latitude and 124°56.55' west longitude, thence southwesterly to a 
point on the northeast coast of Cortes Island at 50°11.74' north latitude and 
124°56.94' west longitude, thence northwesterly following the shoreline of 
Cortes Island to Bullock Bluff, thence true north following the boundary line 
to Raza Island, and thence following the shoreline northeasterly back to the

Subarea 15-5 (Closure 15-5.B) (described below) open to manila clams,

the east coast of Cortes Island at 50°11.74' north latitude and 124°56.94' west 
longitude, thence northeasterly to a point on the west coast of West Redonda 
Island at 50°12.29' north latitude and 124°56.55' west longitude, thence 
southerly and then northerly following the shoreline of West Redonda Island to 
a point on the southeast shoreline of West Redonda Island at 50°07.87' north 
latitude and 124°48.03' west longitude, thence easterly to a point on the 
mainland at 50°07.77' north latitude and 124°43.27' west longitude, thence 
southerly following the shoreline to Zephine Head at 50°04.57' north latitude 
and 124°48.30' west longitude, then southeasterly following the boundary line 
to Sarah Point at 50°03.76' north latitude and 124°50.61' west longitude, 
thence following the boundary line to Mary Point at 50°03.44' north latitude 
and 124°53.13' west longitude, thence northerly following the eastern shoreline 
of Cortes Island back to the point of commencement (a map can be found at

45.00' west longitude, thence southeasterly following the boundary line to 
Brettell Point at 50°19.51' north latitude and 124°44.15' west longitude, 
thence southerly following the shoreline to a point at 50°07.77' north latitude 
and 124°43.27' west longitude, thence easterly to a point on the southeast

to a point 48º55.03' N latitude, 123º38.48' W longitude on the Subarea boundary

Subarea 17-6 (Closure 17-6.B) (described below) open to manila clams,

NOTES:

Sport Fishing Guide, but it is readily available in non-navigable Subarea 
management charts that can be obtained at DFO offices.  In addition,
