FN0658-Yukon/TBR - Recreational Salmon - Tahltan River - Opening July 15, 2016
The Tahltan River and its tributaries, a drainage to the Stikine River, will be opened to recreational salmon fishing upstream of the Tahltan River landslide located approximately 750 metres upstream from the Tahltan River bridge effective 00:01 hrs on July 15, 2016 and remain in force until 24:00 hrs March 31, 2017. Variation Order No. 2016-321 Pacific Region Fish passage of the landslide has been confirmed. The recreational salmon fishing closure to protect staging salmon downstream of the landslide will remain in force until August 31, 2016.
