(SFAB) Groundfish/Shellfish Subcommittee and the SFAB main board, by the
elected industry representatives of the Prawn Industry Caucus, and by First
Nations in the subject areas. As part of the overall management of these high

decisions will be made and announced by early December on the possibility of
further openings or the need for winter closure from January 1 through to March
31, 2016 to allow the spawning cycle to complete.

Recreational prawn fishing in all other coastal areas remains open until
further notice subject to the results of spawner index testing which will be
conducted in October-November. Results will be announced by early December.

These actions are in accordance with the Recreational Harvest Plan, Appendix 2
of the 2015-16 Prawn and Shrimp by Trap Integrated Fishery Management Plan.
