FN0639- Sanitary - Changes to Sanitary Closure for Bivalve Shellfish in Area 15
The following new, revised or revoked sanitary shellfish closure boundary is now in effect as a result of recommendations from the Pacific Interdepartmental Shellfish Committee: Closure 15.29 Refuge Cove, West Redonda Islands - a new closure is now in effect in the following area: The waters and intertidal foreshore of Refuge Cove, West Redonda Island, lying northeast of a line drawn across the entrance to the small cove from a point of land at 50° 07.57' north latitude and 124° 50.81' west longitude, thence southeasterly to the headland on the opposite shore at 50° 07.51' north latitude and 124° 50.66' west longitude (NAD83). January 1 to December 31 Note that this notice does not describe other sanitary closures which may be in effect, or Paralytic Shellfish Poisoning (PSP, red tide) and other marine biotoxin closures.
