The seine fishery will be closed in the Strait of Georgia at 13:00 hours today,

The gillnet fishery is open in Area 14 and Area 17 north and is open until
further notice. Weather hampered fishing yesterday morning but improved later
in the day. Most of the fishing activity is in the Cape Lazo to Seal Bay Area
and Komass Bluff area. Current hailed catch is 2,600 tons of the 6,090 ton
quota.
